Our kit creation function has a Bill of Materials structure. However, the sales order line is for the entire kit. This feature simplifies ordering by keeping the components of the kit in stock while easily collecting them during the picking and packing process.
While only the kit item is displayed on the order, reservation and available to promise are done at the component level. It’s also possible to indicate whether the kit components are printed on forms, such as the confirmation, packing slip or invoice.

Meanwhile, special items not in your catalog can be created during order or quotation entry. Marked with a flag, your special items are easily filtered.
